Google's Dull New Sign-In Page Rolls Out Today: An Underwhelming Upgrade?

Google has recently launched a redesigned login page, which features a horizontal layout that adapts to various screen sizes. The new design is intended to align with the company's Material Design 3 principles and standards, and includes a cleaner appearance with softer features and a new pill-shaped login button. According to Google, the updated login page will roll out to all users on both mobile and desktop devices, including enterprise workspace accounts and personal accounts. The rollout began on February 21st, 2024, and will continue in stages until March 24th, 2024.
