Xbox Cloud Gaming Goes Virtual: Now Available on Meta Quest Headsets
Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available on Meta Quest store, allowing users to play Xbox Game Pass games on their VR headset without a console. The service is installed like any other Quest app and can be accessed using Microsoft credentials. The author found the service to be smooth and free of connectivity issues, with no signs of data-saving or compression. The largest screen sizes provide the most immersive experience, with games feeling almost like they were played natively on an Xbox console. However, the image quality is not as good as native gaming, and users will need an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to access the service. The Quest controllers will not be supported when using the Xbox Cloud Gaming app, and users will need to use a supported controller to stream games on the cloud service.
