Ubisoft Stopped a Massive 900GB Data Breach: What You Need to Know

Ubisoft, a French game publisher, recently experienced a data security incident where an unknown threat actor gained access to the company's internal systems. The hacker(s) attempted to exfiltrate approximately 900GB of data, but were unsuccessful in obtaining sensitive employee data or information about upcoming video games. Ubisoft is currently investigating the incident and has confirmed that there is no indication that any sensitive employee data or information about upcoming video games was accessed or leaked. The company has also confirmed that personal data was included in the breach, but is working quickly to examine the impact.
