Meta's AI Image Generator Goes Live: Try It Now!

Meta has launched a text-to-image generator called "Imagine," which is now available to users in the US. The tool uses 1.1 billion public images from Facebook and Instagram to train the generator, and it can produce images from text prompts. However, users cannot upload their own images for generation. The generated images have a resolution of 1,280 x 1,280 pixels and can be saved in JPEG format. A small watermark is included on the generated images that reads "Imagined with AI." While the service is currently only available in the US, it may expand to other markets in the future.

Intel Unveils Arrow Lake Gaming CPUs with AI Accelerators, Lunar Lake Brings Huge IPC Uplifts

Intel is releasing two new CPUs, Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake, in the second half of 2024. Arrow Lake is focused on gaming and includes an AI accelerator, while Lunar Lake offers significant IPC improvements and three times more AI performance on both the GPU and NPU than Meteor Lake. This collaboration aims to make AI more accessible on more smartphones, starting with mid-range devices.
