Google Podcasts Shutdown Date Set for April 2024: Migration Tool Available

Google Podcasts, a podcast app launched in 2016, will shut down in April 2024. Users have until July 2024 to migrate their subscriptions to YouTube Music or another podcast app. Google has launched a migration tool to help users transfer their existing podcast subscriptions from Google Podcasts to YouTube Music. The tool is currently available in the US and will be rolled out globally soon. Users can access the migration tool within the Google Podcasts app in the coming weeks. Steps for migrating subscriptions will be available on Google's support website. Additionally, users can export their subscriptions as an OPML file at podcasts.google.com/settings until August 2024.
